Facility & Handyman Services Assistant (m/f/d)

Cortado Holding AG is looking for a reliable and hands-on Facility & Office Services Assistant (m/f/d) to keep our Berlin office in excellent shape and ensure smooth daily operations. In this role, you will not only coordinate external services, but also actively take care of small repairs, maintenance, and improvements yourself. You combine classic caretaker duties with office support tasks, making you an essential part of our team and a key contact for colleagues, visitors, and service providers.

Your responsibilities include

  • Performing minor repairs (e.g. furniture, locks, fixtures) and cosmetic improvements independently

  • Assembling and maintaining office furniture, kitchen appliances, coffee machines, and floor-cleaning robots

  • Regularly inspecting the building and proactively fixing small issues before they become problems

  • Supporting events with setup, dismantling, and on-site assistance

  • Organizing incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and hardware returns

  • Managing beverage and office supplies, including restocking and ordering

  • Coordinating external service providers when needed and supervising their work

  • Caring for indoor and outdoor plants and keeping storage areas organized

What you bring

  • Proven hands-on experience in a caretaker, facility, or handyman role

  • Practical skills in minor electrical, plumbing, and assembly tasks

  • Basic IT knowledge (e.g. Wi-Fi setup, small technical tasks)

  • A structured and solution-oriented way of working

  • Reliability, independence, and service-minded communication

  • Good command of English; German is a plus
